A great night was had by all on Saturday 28 April when the IFS celebrated traditional Finnish Vappu. The venue was the beautiful Hall of the Order of Malta in Ballsbridge. The band had arrived all the way from Brussels to entertain us. The boys of Pohjantähteet had come here to play and hardly stopped all night, bringing us to the dance floor to boogie the night away. Pekka and his team had prepared a scrumptious buffet table for us to enjoy throughout the evening. The night was too short and we were left to look forward to next year and the return of Pohjantähteet.
