Suomi School in Dublin 2008 FINLAND KOULU COMMENCES AGAIN ON 6TH SEPTEMBER The school is specially targeted to Finnish ex-patriot children and aims to nurture, revive and teach Finnish language. Every child’s individual level is recognized in teaching – without forgetting that learning can also be fun! Suomi Koulu is functioning under the supervision of the Finnish Ministry of Education, Opetushallitus and is aimed at children from the age of 7 and upwards, for kids that can already read and for those who are interested in learning more. Elina Mantere is going to continue as a teacher, and will be joined by Ritva Pulkkinen, who has just arrived in Dublin, but is a professional primary school teacher. The school takes place about 2-3 times a month in Dublin. Each session is 90 minutes long, starting at 1pm. The School venue is Luther House, 24 Adelaide Road, Dublin 2.
